RESOLUTION NO. 8612
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMVIENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-179 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides
of Byron Avenue from Seventy-first (71st) Street
to the north line of Normandy Beach South.
As said Byron .Avenue, Seventy-first (71st) Street
and Normandy Beach South are shown on a Plat recorded
in Plat Book Twenty-one (21) , Wage Fifty-four (54)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Byron Avenue and. Seventy-first (71st) Street
are named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
Citi- Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of Preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal ser?,ices, abstracts,etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimatedamount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property.
The property against wh'ch assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-179, and is described
as follows :
All the lots or Parcels of land abutting on
Byron Avenue and lying between Seventy-first
(71st ) Street and the north line of Normandy
Beach South.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-179, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-179.
PASgED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF December, A.D. 1953.
