BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
orderedto be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-180 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides
of Carlyle Avenue from Seventy-first (71st)
Street to the north line of Normandy Beach South.
As said Carlyle Avenue, Seventy-first (71st)
Street and North line of Normandy Beach South are
shown on a plat recorded in P] at Book Twenty-one
(21) Page Fifty-four (54) of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and as said Carlyle Avenue
and Seventy-first (71st) street are named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the °reparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein providedfor;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front of abutting
property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-180 and is desdribed
as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Carlyle Avenue and lying between Seventy-first
(71st) Street and the north line cf Normandy
Beach South.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-180, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-180.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF December, A.D. 1953.
