RESOLUTION NO . 8624.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach and the Town of
Surfside, prior to the date of this resolution, entered
into an agreement by the terms of which the City of Miami
Beach agreed to furnish sewage collection and disposal
service to the Tor of Surfside; and
WHEREAS, said agreement will expire on the 31st day
of December, 1953; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be to the best interest of
• all parties that a similar agreement be entered into for
an additional five (5 ) year term commencing January 1,
1954; and
WHEREAS, a written agreement has been prepared pro-
viding for such service during an additional five (5)
year term, the City Council being familiar with the terms
of said agreement .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK be and they are hereby authorized and direct-
ed to execute said agreement in the name of and on be-
half of said City.
