HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DIST-RICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI 3EACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-373 Hawthorne Avenue from South Biscayne Point Road to
a point at or near four hundred seventy-five (475)
feet southerly of the southerly line of South Biscayne
Point Road to be paved and where heretofore paved to
be repaved to a width of twenty (20) feet with a
bituminous wearing surface on an eight (8) inch
compacted rock base .
Together with necessary drainage , sewer inlets , man-
holes and catch basins .
As said Hawthorne Avenue and South Biscayne Point
Road are shownm a Plat recorded in plat Book Fourteen
(14) Page Thirty-Five (35) of the Public Records of
Dade County , Florida and as said Hawthorne Avenue
is named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and specifications of said improvement and
an Estimate of the cost thereof , including an Estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection
and superintendence of the work , the preparation of Plans and Speci-
fications and Estimates, the printing and publication of Notices
and proceedings, the preparation of Bonds , interest during construc-
tion, legal services , abstracts , etc . , and any other expenses neces-
sary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein pro-
vided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-373 and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Hawthorne Avenue and lying between South Biscayne
Point Road and a point at or near four hundred seventy
five (475) feet southerly of the southerly line of
South Biscayne Point Road
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-373 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-373.
