Resolution 8648 RESOLUTION NO. 86+8
WHEREAS, the Owners thereof have offered to
sell to the City of Miami Beach portions of Lots 1 and 29
in Flock 3 of FLEETWOOD SUBDIVISION for the sum of
Twenty-eight T'_ousand a28,000.00) Dollars, said portions
so offered being described in the agreement hereinafter
referred to, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be to the
best interests of the City to acquire said property at
said price and under the terms and conditions set forth
in said agreement, for public street and alley purposes,
and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an
agreement between the said Owners and the City providing
for the sale of said property by said Owners and the
purchase thereof by the City, the City Council being
familiar with the terms of said agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the
Mayor and the City Clerk be and they hereby are
authorized and directed to execute said agreement in the
name _.f and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the disbursing
officers of the City be and they hereby are authorized
mad directed to make the disbursements called for by
said agreement from funds of the City available for
such purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 20th day of January, A.D.
