Resolution 8676 RESOLUTION NO. 8676
WHEREAS, the City Council is considering amending Section
17 of Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordi-
nance of Miami Beach, Florida", so as to provide that with
special permission of the City Council, docks, wharves,
dolphins or similar structures may extend from a business or
multiple-family lot into Biscayne Bay, a distance not greater
than four hundred fifty (450' ) feet,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and
is hereby called to be held on the 7th day of April, A. D. 1954,
at 11:00 o 'clock A.M. , in the Council Chambers in the City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give at least fifteen days ' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by publishing notice
thereof in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general circu-
lation in said City of Miami Beach, Florida, in conformity with
Section 21 of Ordinance No. 289 of said City.
