Resolution 8693 RESOLUTION N0. 8693
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, is considering amending
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as "The Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida" and the
maps attached thereto and made a part thereof, 30 that
there shall be included in the "Two-story Cabana
District" a3 said district is set out and defined in
said ordinance, those certain parcels of land, situate
in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, described
as follows, to wit:
That certain block of land designated
as "Hotel Site" and a strip of land
lying opposite said "Hotel Site", between
Miami Beach Drive and the Atlantic Ocean,
all as shown by the amended Plat of the
Ocean Front Property of the Miami Beach
Improvement Company, according to the
plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 5,
pages 7 and 8, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, the said land
being usually referred to as the "Roney
Plaza Hotel Property".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that a
public hearing be and the same is hereby called to be
held on May 5th, 1950, at 11:00 o' clock A. M., in the
Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for
the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk
be and he is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days
notice of the time, place and object of said hearing
by public notice thereof in the Miami Beach Sun, a
newspaper of general circulation in said City.
