Resolution 8694 RESOLUTION NO. 8694
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, on the 25th day of March., 1953, duly passed and
adopted Resolution No. 8308; and
WIEREAS, in and by said Resolution No. 8308
it was deemed necessary for the welfare of the City of
Miami Beach and its inhabitants, to acquire for the purpose
of off-street parking of automobiles for the use of said
City and its inhabitants, the following described land,
situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, to wit:
The South Twenty-five (25) feet of Lots
One (1) , Two (2) , Five (5) and Six (6)
and the North Twenty-five (25) feet of
Lot Seventy-nine (79) of Block Ten (10)
of Ocean Side Section of ISLE OF NOR1LNDY,
according to the plat thereof, recorded
in Flat Book 25, at page 60, of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida; and
WIEREAS, it was also then and there duly
resolved that the City Attorney be authorized and directed
to institute condemnation proceedings for the acquisition
of said land for said purpose; and
WIEiiE'AS, the City Attorney did institute such
proceedings, and the same are now pending; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the institution of said
proceedings, it has been duly determined that in view of
presently existing circumstances, it is to the best interests
of the City of viiami Beach to dismiss the following described
land from the said pending condemnation proceedings, to wit:
The South Twenty-five (25) feet of
Lots 1 and 2, of Block Ten (10) of
Ocean Side Section of 1SLL OF ITORMANDY,
accordi;.,g; to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 25, at page 60, of the
Public Records of Dade County, i'lorida;

NOW, `.THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF "IIA'•a BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City
Attorney be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to
dismiss from the said pending proceedings the said south
twenty-five (25) feet of Lots 1 and 2.
