SANITARY SEWER LATERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SL-29 SL-29
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 01, MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SL-29 The laying underground of six (6) inch terra
cotta sewer laterals in LaGorce Drive from
Fifty-fifth (55th) Street to Sixty-third (63rd)
Street, as a separate improvement from the
existing sewer main to the line of Lots One (1) ,
Five (5) , Seven (7), and. Eight (8) , Block Thirteen
(13) ; Lots One (1) and Eight (8) , Block Fourteen
(14) ; Lots Three (3) and Five (5), Block Fifteen
(15) , Beach View Subdivision; Lot Seven (7) , Block
Five (5) ; Lots Three (3) and Six (6) , Block Six
(6) , Beach View Addition.
As said Drive, Streets, Lots, Blocks and Subdivisions
are shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book Nine (9) ,
Page One Hundred Fifty-eight (158), and Plat Boob
Sixteen (16 ) , Page Ten (10) of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and as said LaGorce Drive is
named and designated in Ordinance No. 378.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement with an estimate
of the cost, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the pre-
paration of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publi-
cation of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest dur-
ins construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against the abutting property
for each sewer lateral.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such
improvement is hereby designated as District SL-29, and is described as
follows :
Lots One (1) , Five (5) , Seven (7) and Eight (8) , Block
Thirteen (13) ; Lots One (1) and Eight (8) , Block
Fourteen (14) ; Lots Three (3) and Five (5), Block Fifteen
(15) , Beach View Subdivision, accordin-r to the Plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book Nine (9) , Page One Hundred
fifty-eight (158) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
Lot Seven (7) , Block Five (5) ; Lots Three (3 ) and Six (6) ,
Block Six (6) , Beach View Addition according to the Plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 16, l'age 10 of the Public
Records of Dade County,Florida.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-29, and the

property against which assessments therefor may be made for
the cost thereof shall be designated as District SL-29.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th DAY OF April, A.D. 1954•
