Resolution 8711 RESOLUTION No. 8711
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach and Eli Quain
did, on the 2nd day of September, 1953, enter into a
written agreement, by the terms of which the City granted
to the said Eli Quain for a term of three ( 3) years beginning
on the 1st day of June, 1954, the right and privilege to
operate a concession for the rental of beach equipment in
several ocean front parks, said right and privilege being
referred to in said agreement as "The Beach Equipment
Concession in the City of Miami Beach, Florida"; and
WHEREAS, it is the mutual aesire of the parties
to said agreement that the same should be cancelled, and
the parties thereto each be released from all obligations
to the other; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an
instrument which, when executed, will accomplish the
cancellation of the agreement as aforesaid, the City
Council being familiar with the terms of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF raAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor
and the City Clerk be, and they are authorized and
directed to execute said cancellation agreement in the
name and in behalf of said City.

1954.
