HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forthits inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-374 Alton Court from Ninth (9th) Street to a point at or
near two hundred eighty (280) feet southerly of Ninth
(9th) Street to be paved and where heretofore paved
to be repaved to a width of twenty (20 ) feet with a
bituminous wearing surface on an eight (8" ) inch base.
Together with necessary drainage , sewer inlets, man-
holes and catch basins .
As said Court and Street are shown on Plat recorded
in Plat Book Twenty-eight (28) , Page Thirty-Four(34)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Alton Court is named and designated in Ordi-
nance No. 553.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with City
Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an Estimate of the cost of the expenses
of the preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superinten-
dence of the work , the preparation of Plans and Specifications and
Estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings ,
the preparation of Ronds, interest during construction, legal services ,
abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against eachfront foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-374 and is
described as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Alton
Court and lying between Ninth (9th) Street and a
point at or near two hundred eighty (280) feet southerly
of Ninth (9th) Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and Bonds as Highway Improvement H-3�4, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-3�4.
