A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE
APPLICATION TO THE CORPS OF ENGINEERS,
U. S. ARMY, FOR A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT A
SEAWALL AND DREDGE AND PLACE FILL ON THE
EAST SIDE OF INDIAN CREEK FROM 14TH STREET
TO THE NORTH LINE OF LOT A, AMENDED PLAT OF
THE INDIAN BEACH CORPORATION SUBDIVISION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That Morris N. Lipp, City Engineer of the City of
Miami Beach be, and he is hereby authorized and directed
to make application to the Corps of Engineers, U. S. Army
for a permit to construct a seawall and dredge and place
fill on the east side of Indian Creek from 44th Street to
the north line of Lot A, Amended Plat of the Indian Beach
Corporation Subdivision, and said application to be made
for and on behalf of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 21 DAY OF July, A.D. , 1954.
