Resolution 8771 RESOLUTION NO. 8771
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate
of the Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held
on August 17, 1954, for the purpose of electing a Trustee
for the Miami Beach Employees Retirement System from croup 3
of the Employees of the City of Tiami Beach, in accordance
with the provisions of Resolution No. 8757, as passed and
adopted by the City Council on the 21st day of July, 194,
and
WHEREAS , the said City Council has canvassed said
returns and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of said City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as
the result of said Primary Election, and do hereby declare the
member from ;roup 3 elected as Trustee to the Miami Beach
Employees Retirement System to be as follows :
GROUP 3 : FRANK HOBAN (Elected by 33 votes out of
59 votes cast, being a clear
majority at the Primary
Election)
PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of Augus A. D. ,
1954.
