Resolution 8778 RESOLUTION NO. 8778
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the
Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held on
September 21, 1954, for the purpose of electing a non-voting
member of the Personnel Board from croup 3 of the employees of
the City of Miami Beach, to fill the unexpired term on FRANK
MORRISON ,which term expires at midnight, July 31, 1955, in
accordance with the provisions of Resolution No. 8774 as passed
and adopted by the City Council on September 1, 1954, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns
and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
said City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as the
result of said Primary Election, and do hereby declare the member
from Group 3 elected to the Personnel Board to be as follows :
GROUP 3 : GEORGE E . BOND (Elected by 147 votes out of
282 votes cast, being a clear
majority at the Primary Elec-
tion. )
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of October, A. D. , 1954.
