Resolution 8790 RESOLUTION No. 8790
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that the ZOLLNLR MACHINE WORKS,
INC. (Zollner Pistons) desires to lease the premises and
facilities of the Miami Beach Auditorium for the purpose
of a Pro Basketball game (Professional Basketball) on
February 14th, 1955, and for the purpose of a Pro Basketball
game (Professional basketball) on February 17th, 1955; and
WHEREAS, lease agreements have been prepared by the
Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City
Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the teens and provisions of said lease agreements
and deems it to be for the best interest of the City to
authorize the execution of said lease agreements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute the above described lease acreements on behalf of the
City of Miami Beach, and that the Auditorium Manager is
hereby authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms
and provisions undertaken therein by the City.
