SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SK-174 SK-174.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0J MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-174. A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the south
side of Thirtieth (30th) Street from a point at
or near One Hundred Forty (140) feet east of
Collins Avenue to a point at or near Two Hundred
Eighty Five (285) feet east of Collins Avenue .
As said Thirtieth (30th) Street and Collins Ave-
nue are shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book Five
(5) at Pages Seven(7) and Eight (8) of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Thirtieth (30th) Street is named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an esti-
mate of the cost thereof , including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of Plans and Specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceed-
ings , the preparation of bonds , interest during construction, legal
services , abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper
in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK 174 and is des-
cribed as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
the south side of Thirtieth (30th) Street and
lying between a point at or near One Hundred
Forty (140) feet east of Collins Avenue and the
Atlantic Ocean.
This Improvement shall, be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-1�4, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SK-174..
