BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-+.E CITY 0,? MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-176 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the north
side of Thirty-Fifth (35th) , Thirty-Seventh (37th) ,
Fortieth c40th) and Forty-Second (42nd) Streets from
Collins Avenue to a point at or near the easterly
line of the Ocean Front Property of the Miami Beach
Improvement Company.
As said Thirty-Fifth (35th) , Thirty-Seventh(37th) ,
Fortieth (4.0th) and Forty-Second (4.2nd) Streets,
Collins Avenue and Ocean Front Property of the Miami
Beach Improvement Company are shown on Amended Plat
of the Ocean Front Property of the Miami Beach Im-
provement Company recorded in Plat Book Five (5) ,
Pages Seven (7) and Fight (8 ) of the Public Records
of' Dade County, Florida, and as said Thirty-Fifth
(35th) , Thirty-Seventh (37th) , Fortieth (40th) and
Forty-Second (42nd) Streets are named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232. /
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an esti-
mate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost or the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of Plans and Specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services ,
abstracts , etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estima-
ted amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-176 and is described
as follows:
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on the north
side of Thirty-Fifth (35th) , Thirty-Seventh (37th) ,
Fortieth (40th) , and Forty-Second (42nd) Streets and ly-
ing between Collins Avenue and the Atlantic Ocean.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-176, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-176.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of October , A. D. 19514.
