Resolution 8823 RESOLUTION NO. 8823
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida is considering amending Ordinance No . 289,
commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida" and the maps attached thereto and
made a part thereof so as to place in the "Cabana and
swimming pool" District and in an appropriate Area Dist-
rict , as said Districts are set forth and defined in said
ordinance, the northerly sixteen (16 ' ) feet of the easter-
ly portion of Lot 3, Block 11 of the OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY
of the MIAMI BEACH IMPROVEMENT COMPANY, according to the
Amended Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 5 at pages 7
and 8 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida and
so as to place in the "Two-Story Cabana District" and in
an appropriate Area District the remainder of the easter-
ly portion of said Lot 3, together with the easterly por-
tion of Lots 1 and 2 of said Block 11, and of the land
adjoining Lot 1 on the south, and to place the remainder
of said Block 11 in an appropriate Area District .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida that a public
hearing be and the same is hereby called to be held on
January 5th , 1955 at 2 :15 o 'clock P. M. in the
Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for
the consideration of said amendment .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be
and he is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days
notice of the time, place and object of said hearing by
public notice thereof published in the Miami Beach Sun,
a newspaper of general circulation in said City.
