Resolution 8829 RESOLUTION NO. 8829
WHEREAS, Agreements have been heretofore prepared by
the terms of which various Hotel Operators of the City of
Miami Beach, in consideration of benefits which will accrue
to such operators, have agreed topay over to the City an
amount equal to five percent (5w) of the gross room revenue
accruing to the operators from conventions booked and held
in said City during the period extending from September 1,
1953 to August 31, 1955, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the terms
Jf said agreements and deems it t ) be to the best interest
of the City that said agreements be entered into
NOt'J, THEREFORE, BE IT RRSOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
-!'HE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
.execute in the name of and on behalf of said City the said
agreement which is as follows :
AGREEMENT dated December 3, 1954, between City of
Miami Beach and Harold E. Druker for the Vendome Hotel.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of December, A.D.
1954.
