RESOLUTION No. 8830
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, at meetings held on the dates hereinafter
set forth, did appropriate the following sums from the
Surplus Revenues Fund of the Miami Beach Parking System
for extension of the parking system, as follows :

Lots 10 and 11, Block 5, Ocean
Side Section, Isle of Normandy $10,000.00
January 6, 1954 Construction of Parking Area :
West z of Block 10, Ocean Side
Section, Isle of Normandy 17,881 .25
October 20, 1954 Purchase of 915 eighteen (18) hour
meters and 71 three (3) hour meters
from Duncan Parking Meter Corpor-
ation, in accordance with bid
submitted October 14, 1954 .
(This charge does not include meter
standards and cost of install-
ation. ) 47,653.38
December 15,1954 Additional amount in excess of
estimate required to cover cost
of construction of Parking Lot
at 72nd Street and Dickens
Avenue 2,149.81
$77,684.44
and
WHEREAS, the following credit, representing
excess of appropriation (based on estimated cost)
over actual cost is due the Surplus Revenues Fund
from the City:
Parking Area, Lots 10 and 11,
Block 5, Ocean Side Section,
Isle of Normandy 3,009.72
Balance $74,674.72
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Depository,
Miami Beach First National Bank, be and it is hereby
directed, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No . 7127,
Section 4, to transfer said balance of $74,674.72 from the
Surplus Revenues Fund of the Metered Parking System to the
City of Miami Beach Miscellaneous Fund Account, as and for
reimbursement to the City for funds expended therefrom for
said extensions and improvements of the Parking System; and
be it hereby
FURTHER RESOLVED, that a duly certified copy of

this Resolution be transmitted forthwith to the
Miami Beach First National Bank of Miami Beach,
Florida.
