Resolution 8836 RESOLUTION NO. 8836
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That certain City of Miami Beach funds now being deposited
from time to time in the Bank of Miami Beach, of Miami
Beach, Florida, in an account entitled: "CITY OF MIAMI BEACH" pursuant
to authority of this Body, as designated in Resolution No. 8826,
passed and adopted on December 15, 1954 may, until further order, by
resolution of this Body, be withdrawn from Gime to time upon check
or other order of the City of Miami Beach, Florida signed in the
name of the City of Miami Beach, Florida by two (2) of its officers,
as follows :
By C. W. TOMLINSON, as City Clerk
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By D. J. CLEARY, as Deputy City Clerk
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By W. B. LEDDY, as Deputy City Clerk
and countersigned
By CLAUDE A. RENSHAW, as City Manager
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By MORRIS N. LIPP, as Assistant City Manager
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By MARGARET L. MAC KAY, as Secretary.
SECTION 2: That said Bank of Miami Beach is hereby authorized and
requested to accept, honor and pay without further inquiry,
and until delivery to it of written notice of the revocation of the
authority hereby granted, all checks and other orders for the payment
or withdrawal of money deposited with said bank in the name of said
City of Miami Beach, including checks drawn to the individual order of
the officers signing same and including also all such instruments
payable or endorsed to the order of the City of Miami Beach, when such
checks or other orders for money shall be signed or endorsed in the
name of the City of Miami Beach by its officers hereinbefore named.
SECTION 3: That a certified copy hereof be delivered to the Bank of
Miami Beach.
