Resolution 8837 RESOLUTION NO. 8837
WHEREAS, PHILIP ROSE and CLARA H. ROSE, his wife,
have agreed to sell to the City of Miami Beach, for the sum
of $20,000.00 in cash, that certain parcel of land situate,
lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, des-
cribed as follows :
Lots Five (5) and Eight (8) of
Block 16, NORMANDY BEACH SOUTH,
a Subdivision, according to the
Plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 21, page 54+ of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, deems it to be to the best interest of the
City of Miami Beach to acquire said land at said price for
off-street parking of automobiles; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an agree-
ment between said owners and the City, providing for such
purchase, with the terms of which the City Council is
familiar;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said agreement in the name of and on behalf of said
City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager and
the disbursing officers of the City be and they are hereby
directed to carry out the terms of said agreement .
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of January
