Resolution 8839 RESOLUTION NO. 8839
WHEREAS, the Junior Chamber International has
chosen the City of Miami Beach as a permanent site
for its secretariat; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of headquarters at
Miami Beach by this increasingly important inter-
national group is a tribute and an honor to our
city; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of Miami Beach is
desirous of manifesting its cordial hospitality to
this internationally prominent organization whose
worthwhile and outstanding activities spread good
will throughout the world;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of Miami Beach, Florida, that a warm and
heartfelt welcome be extended to the Junior Chamber
International, and that an expression of willingness
to cooperate, be conveyed.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of February, A.D. ,
1955 .
