HIGHWAY IMPROVE1'.ENT DISTRICT
H-398 H-398
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the C .ty Council hereby setting forbh
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-398 Normandy Drive from Rue Notre Dame westerly to Bay
Drive to be paved, and where heretofore paved to
be repaved to a width of sixty (60) feet with a
bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock
base, and improved on both sides with concrete curb
and gutter.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, man-
holes and catch basins.
As said Normandy Drive, Rue Notre Dame and Bay Drive
are shown on plats recorded in Plat Book Thirty-four
(34) , Page Eighty (80) ; Plat Book Twenty-five (25),
Page Fifty-six (56) ; Plat Book Twenty-five (25); Page
Sixty (60) ; Plat Book Forty-one (41) , Page Seventy-
five (75) ; Plat Book Forty (40) , Page Thirty-three (33) ,
end Plat Book Forty (40) , Page Thirty-five (35) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Normandy Drive is named and designated in Ordinance No. 5380
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement
and an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of
the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys„ the
inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publi-
cation of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,etc,,,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the es , .mated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-398
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
Normandy Drive and lying between _due Notre Dame and
Bay Drive.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-3g8 and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District H-398
