HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be mode; the City Coni it hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-399 Pine Tree Drive from Forty-Sixth (4.6) Street to Fifty-
First (51) Street to be paved, and where heretofore paved
to be repaved with two (2) Thirty-One (31) foot pavements,
with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock
base with a centralark and improved both sides� r P
ov o n of with
concrete curb and gutter and the central park to be im-
proved on both sides with a concrete curb.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catch basins.
As said Pine Tree Drive and Streets are shown on Plats re-
corded in Plat Book Eight(8) ,Page Sixty-One(61) , Plat Book
Nine (9) ,Page One Hundred and Fourteen(114.) ,Plat Book Forty-
Seven(4.7) ,Page One Hundred and Five (105) , Plat Book Fourteen
(14) ,Page Forty-Two(4.2) ,Plat Book Thirty-Nine (39) ,Page
Thirty(30) and Plat Book Nine (9) ,Page One Hundred and Fifty
Eight(158) of the Public Records of Dade County,Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement
and an estimate of the cost thereof, including en estimate of
the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the
inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publi-
cation of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds,
interest during construction, legal ser.-vices, abstracts,etc,,,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the es 1mcted
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the
cost of such improvement is hereby designated as District H-399
and is described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Pine Tree
Drive and lying between Forty-Sixth (4.6) and Fifty-First
(51) Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Highway Improvement H-399 and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost
thereof shall be designated as District H-399
