WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-121 Both sides of Pinetree Drive from West 26th Street to West 51st
Street.
To be improved with a Whiteway lighting system of ornamental
posts and lamps at approximately One Hundred FiftyI150)feet apart
on each side with underground connections for lighting.
As said Drive and Streets are shown on Plats recorded in Plat
Book 4.,Page 154.;Plat Book 6,Pages 101 and 111;Plat Book 8,Pages
61 and 116; Plat Book 9,Pages 114. and 158; Plat Book 10,Page 3;
Plat Book 14,Page 4.2; Plat Book 25,Page 30;Plat Book 39,Page 30;
Plat Book 4.7,Page 105,of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of the preliminary and other surveys, the inspec-
tion and superintendence of the wcrk, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc., and any other
expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost
of such improvement is hereby designated as District WW-121 and
is described as follows :
All of those lots or parcels of land abutting on both sides
of Pinetree Drive and lying between West 26th Street and
West 51st Street.
In estimating the amount to be assessed against abutting property,
the City Engineer is hereby directed to apportion to the City such
portion of the total cost as shall bear the same ratio to the total
cost as the length of the street intersections bears to the total
street frontage within the district.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-121 and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District WW-121.
