SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SR-533 The laying underground of an eight (8) inch terra cotta
sanitary sewer with necessary manholes and appurtenances ,
at or near the easterly curb line of East Star Island
Drive and at or near the westerly curb line of hest Star
Island Drive from the northerly end of Star Island to the
southerly end of Star Island , together with a six ( 6)inch
terra cotta sewer lateral from the main sewer to the line
of each one hundred (100) feet of abutting property as a
part of the main improvement.
As said Drives and Island are shown on a Plat recorded in
Plat Book 31, at Page 6o, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said East Star Island Drive and
West Star Island Drive are named and designated in Ordi-
nance No. 303.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof; including an estimate of the cost of the expense
of preliminary and other surveys; the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates ,the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings , the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services , abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SR-533 and is described
as follows :
Lots One (1) through Forty-six (46) , Corrected Plat of Star
Island according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book
Thirty-one (31) , at Page Sixty (60) of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-533 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SR-533.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF March, A. D. 1955
