SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SR-544. The a ix�a underground of a ten (10) inch terra
cott �ed Pwith necessary manholes and appurtenances,
at or near the northerly curb line of Palm Avenue
from a point at or near the easterly line of Lot
Four (4.) , Block One (1), Palm Island, to a point
at or near the westerly line of Lot Five (5) , Block
Two (2), Palm IslandRESOLUTION, together with a terra cotta
sewer lateral from the main sewer to the line of each
one hundred (100) feet of abutting property as a
part of the main improvement.
The laying underground of an eight (8) inch terra cotta
sanitary sewer with necessary manholes and appurtenances,
at or near the northerly curb line of Palm Avenue from
a point at or near the westerly line of Lot Five (5) ,
Block One (1) , Palm Island, to the easterly end of said
Palm Avenue; at or near the southerly curb line of Palm
Avenue from a point at or near the westerly line of Lot
Thirty-six (36) , Block Two (2) , Palm Island, to the
easterly line of Fountain Street and from the easterly
line of Fountain Street to the easterly end of said
Palm Avenue, together with a six (6 ) inch terra cotta
sewer lateral from the main sewer to the line of each
one hundred (100) feet of abutting property as a part
of the main Improvement.
As said Avenue, Street, Lots, Blocks, and Island are shown
on a Plat recorded in Plat Book Six (6) , at Page Fifty-four
(54) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of
the cost thereof; including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys ; the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the prepara-
tion of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SR-51114, and is
described as follows :
Lots One (1) through Forty-four (44), Block One (1) ;
Lots One (1) through Five (5) and Lots Thirty-six (36)
through Forty-four (L14) , Block Two (2), Palm Island,
according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book
Six (6) , at Page Fifty-four (54) of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.

This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assess-
ments and bonds as Sanitary Sewer Improvement SR-WI, and the
property against which assessments therefor may be made for the
cost thereof shall be designated as District SR-91)1 .
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF March, A.D.1955.
