Resolution 8986 RESOLUTION NO . 8986 -
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, is considering amending Ordinance No . 289,
commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida", so as to place in ah Area District which
will require a front yard having a depth of not less than
fifteen (15 ' ) feet when measured from any water-way, and
a rear yard having a depth of not less than ten (10 ' ) feet
when measured from the street side, and a side yard having
a depth on each side of not less than seven and one-half
(72') feet for all water front lots, and by placing in an
Area District which will require a front yard having a
depth of not less than ten (10 ' ) feet, and a rear yard
having a depth of not less than five (5 ' ) feet, and a
side yard having a depth on each side of not less than
seven and one-half (72' ) feet for all lots which are not
water front lots, that certain tract of land situate in
said City commonly known as Park View Island - as shown
on an unrecorded plat prepared by Zurwelle-Whittaker, Inc . ,
dated March 10, 1955.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing
be and the same is hereby called to be held on April 20,
1955 at 11 :00 o 'clock A.M. in the Council Chambers, City
Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said
amendment .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be
and he is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days notice
of the time, place and object of said hearing by public
notice thereof, published in the Miami Beach Sun, a news-
paper of general circulation in said City.
