Resolution 9059 RESOLUTION No. 9059
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida did heretofore on the 23rd day of April, 1953, by
Resolution No . 8345, authorize and direct the City Attorney
to institute condemnation proceedings against the following
described land :
PARCEL NUMBER ONE
Lot Four (4) and the South one-half of
Lot Five (5) Block Thirty (30) of
FISHER'S FIRST SUBDIVISION OF ALTON BEACH,
according to the Plat thereof recorded in
Plat Book 2, at page 77 of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida .
1 PARCEL NUMBER TWO :
The North one-half of Lot Five (5) and all
of Lots Six (6) and Seven (7), Block Thirty
(30) of FISHER'S FIRST SUBDIVISION OF ALTON
BEACH, according to the Plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book 2 at page 77 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida:
to acquire the same for off-street automobile parking
purposes; and
WHEREAS, said proceedings are now pending in the
Dade County Circuit Court; and
WHEREAS, subsequent to the institution of said
proceedings, the value of said land has so increased as to
render the acquisition thereof impracticable
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida that the City Attorney
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to move or the
dismissal of said condemnation proceedings .
