Resolution 9086 RESOLUTION NO. 9086
WHEREAS, the term of the agreement under which
boxing and wrestling exhibitions are now being presented
in the Miami Beach Auditorium will expire on the 30th
day of November, 1955; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be to the best interest
of the City of Miami Beach to grant to
CHRIS DUNDEE
the exclusive right to present boxing and wrestling
exhibition shows and contests in the Municipal Auditorium
building, together with all radio broadcast and television
rights in respect to such presentations for a period of
time extending from December 1, 1955 to November 30, 1958,
at midnight on the same terms and conditions as are
contained in the current agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an
agreement between the City and
CHRIS DUNDEE
with the terms of which the City Council is familiar;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the
Mayor and the City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized
and directed to execute the said agreement in the name of
and on behalf of said City.
