Resolution 9095 RESOLUTION NO. 9095
WHEREAS, the Agreement heretofore entered into
by and between the City of Miami Beach, Florida and E. P .
OWEN, JR. expired on June 30, 1955, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be to the best interest
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida to enter into a similar
agreement which will, in effect, extend the existing agree-
ment from July 1, 1955 up to and including the 30th day of
June, 1957 on the identical terms and conditions of the
previous agreement heretofore referred to, save and except
that the allowance for traveling and other expenses shall
be at the rate of $4,000.00 per year instead of at the rate
of $2,500 .00 per year, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has prepared an Agree-
ment providing for such expenses with the terms of which
the City Council is familiar .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and
City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said agreement in the name of and on behalf of said
City and the disbursing officers of the City be and they are
hereby authorized to make disbursements called for by said
agreement from funds of the City available for such purpose .
