Resolution 9115 RESOLUTION NO. 9115
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the
Inspectors who conducted the Primary Election held on August
9, 1955, for the purpose of electing a Trustee for the Miami
Beach Employees Retirement System from Group 2 of the Em-
ployees of the City of Miami Beach, in accordance with the
provisions of Resolution No. 9088, as passed and adopted by
the City Council on the 6th day of July, 1955, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said
returns and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of said City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as
the result of said Primary Election, and do hereby declare
the member from Group 2 elected as Trustee to the Miami
Beach Employees Retirement System to be as follows :
GROUP 2: D. J. CLEARY (Elected by 94 votes out of
114 votes cast, being a
clear majority at the Pri-
mary Election)
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of August, A. D.
1955.

We, the undersigned Inspectors, do hereby certify, in duplicate,
that we held and conducted a Primary Election of the members of Group 2
of the Employees of the City of Miami Beach, in the lobby at City Hall,
1130 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, on August 9, 1955, for the purpose
of nominating two (2) candidates for the Miami Beach Employees Retirement
System Election to be held on August 16, 1955; that at the close of the
polls we proceeded to open the ballot box, count the ballots and found
the result of said Primary Election as conducted by us to be as follows,
which result we then publicly proclaimed.
That for candidates for Trustee for the Miami Beach Employees
Retirement System from Group 2, the following were nominated:
