Resolution 9118 RESOLUTION NO . 9118
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida has been advised that the JUNIOR
CHAMBER INTERNATIONAL desires to lease the premises and
facilities of the building known as No . 1210 Fifth
Street, Miami Beach, Florida, which building was formerly
occupied by the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, for the
purpose of the establishment of a permanent home for the
Secretariat of the JUNIOR CHAMBER INTERNATIONAL; and
WHEREAS, a lease agreement has been prepared
by the City Attorney, with the terms of which lease
agreement the City Council is familiar; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be
for the best interest of the City to authorize the
execution of said agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida that the
Mayor and the City Clerk be . and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute the above described
lease agreement on behalf of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, and that the proper City officials be and they
hereby are authorized and directed to carry into effect
the terms and provisions undertaken therein by the
City .
