Resolution 9129 RESOLUTION NO. 9129
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida is considering amending Ordinance No . 289,
commonly known as "The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida" so as to place in the "RE" Multiple Family
District; as said District is set forth and defined in said
Ordinance, those certain parcels of land situate in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, described as follows, to-wit:
Lots 1 through 7 in Block 7, and Lots
1 and 2 in Block 7A, together with that
portion of the "Bridle Path" lying east-
erly of and adjacent thereto; and Lots 1
through 7 in Block 8, and Lots 1 through
3 in Block 8A; of GOLF COURSE SUBDIVISION,
according to the Amended Plat thereof, re-
corded in Plat Book 6, page 26, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and
WHEREAS, the said City Council is further con-
sidering amending said Ordinance so as to place those parcels
of the hereinabove described land which lie easterly of Meri-
dian Avenue in an Area District which will require a front yard
having a depth of not less than forty (40) feet, a rear yard
having a depth of not less than ten (10) feet and a sideyard
having a width of not less than seven and one-half (7 1/2)feet;
and those portions of the hereinabove described land which lie
westerly of Meridian Avenue in an Area District which will re-
quire a front yard having a depth of not less than twenty-five
(25) feet, a rear yard having a depth of not less than seven
and one-half (7 1/2) feet and a sideyard having a width of not
less than seven and one-half (7 1/2) feet; and
WHEREAS, said City Council is further considering
amending said Ordinance by placing all of the parcels of land
hereinabove described in Parking District No . 1, as said District
is set forth and defined in said Ordinance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida that a public hearing be
and the same is hereby called to be held on October 5, 1955
at 11:00 o 'clock A.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Miami
Beach, Florida for the consideration of said amendment .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give fifteen (15) days notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by public notice thereof, pub-
lished in the Miami Beach Sun, a newspaper of general circula-
tion in said City.
