SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED 3Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMMI BEACH,FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-224 A three (3) foot concrete sidewalk adjacent to the
existing sidewalk on the easterly side of Collins
Avenue from Lincoln Road tc a point at or near the
northerly line of Lot Seven (7) , Block One (1) ,
Fisher's First Subdivision of Alton Beach, and
on the westerly side of Collins Avenue from Lincoln
Road to a point at or near the northerly line of
Lot Seven (7), Block Two (2) , Fisher' s First Subdivision
of Alton Beach.
As said. Avenue, Road and Subdivision are shown on a
Plat recorded. in Plat Book Two (2) , Page Seventy-seven
(77) , of the Public Records of Dade County,Florida, and
as said. Collins Avenue is named and designated in Ordinance
No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and en estimate
of the cost thereof, including en estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings , the prepara-
tion of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and h'ork herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-224, and is
described as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on
the easterly side of Collins Avenue, and lying
between Lincoln Road and a point at or near the
northerly line of Lot Seven (7) , Block One (1) ,
Fisher' s First Subdivision of Alton Beach, and
on the westerly side of Collins Avenue lying between
Lincoln Road and a point at or near the northerly
line of Lot Seven (7) , Block Two (2) , Fisher's
First Subdivision of Alton Beach.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-224, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-224.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5thay of October, . 1955.
