Resolution 9151 RESOLUTION NO. 9151
WHEREAS, the late City Clerk, C. W. TOMLINSON,
loyally and most ably served the City of Miami Beach
for thirty-five years; and
WHEREAS, he exemplifies the municipal government
employee who serves faithfully and well, with duty
and the good conduct of government ever uppermost in
his mind; and
WHEREAS, he will continue to serve as an inspiration
and guiding light to those who were closely associated
with him, challenging them always to maintain the high
standards he set in his office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that we, the members
of the City Council of Miami Beach, do unanimously pay
tribute to a truly outstanding municipal official --
C. W. Tomlinson.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be
spread upon the minutes of the City Council, and that
a copy be sent to the family of Mr. C. W. Tomlinson as
a lasting testimonial of our sincere sympathy, with the
hope that our appreciation of his contribution to this
city may, in some measure, lighten the burden of their
bereavement .
