Resolution 9161 RESOLUTION NO. 9161
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, deems it to be necessary for the welfare of said
City and the inhabitants thereof, to acquire for the purpose
of off the street parking of automobiles, those certain
parcels of land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade
County, Florida, described as follows, to-wit :
Lots Five (5) , Six (6) , Seven (7) and Eight (8) ,
Block 7 of the OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY of the MIAMI
BEACH IMPROVEMENT COMPANY, according to the plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 5, pages 7 and 8
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND DECLARED by the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that it is
necessary that the fee simple title to the above described
property be acquired for development, use and maintenance for
off the street parking of automobiles, for the benefit of
said City and the inhabitants thereof, and that the City
Attorney be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
institute the necessary legal proceedings in the name of said
City in the exercise cf its right of eminent domain for the
condemnation of said property for said purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of October, A.D. 1955.
