A RESOLUTION PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR AN ADDITIONAL
ACCOUNT TO BE SET UP IN THE MERCANTILE NATIONAL
BANK OF MIAMI BEACH TO BE DESIGNATED "LIBRARY
ACCOUNT", AND PROVIDING AUTHORITY FOR THE SIGNING
OF VOUCHERS DRAWING ON FUNDS IN SAID "LIBRARY
ACCOUNT" .
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1 : That a fund, to be known and designated as "City
of Miami Beach Library Account" be and the same
is authorized to be set up as a separate account in the
MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK of Miami Beach, a City Depository,
in the amount of $200 .00, into which "Library Account" shall
be deposited from time to time regular City of Miami Beach
checks, drawn on "City of Miami Beach" account in THE MIAMI
BEACH FIRST NATIONAL BANK in such amounts as may be required
to meet the total monthly disbursements for the purchase of
books, and
SECTION 2: That withdrawals from said "Library Account" shall
be on printed checks of the City of Miami Beach,
designated "CITY OF MIAMI BEACH LIBRARY ACCOUNT", which checks
shall have printed across the lower edge thereof the words
"NOT GOOD IN EXCESS OF $200 .00) , each check APPROVED by the
signature of BERTHA ALDRICH, as HEAD LIBRARIAN, and each bear-
ing the facsimile signatures of R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City
Clerk, and Morris N . Lipp, as Assistant City Manager, in the
colors and with the background and other identifying symbols
as imprinted on the sample check attached hereto and made a
part hereof; or each check may be manually signed by the
Head Librarian, as above, together with two (2) additional
manual signatures as follows :
By R. Wm. L. Johnson, as City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By D. J. Cleary, as Deputy City Clerk,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By W. B. Leddy, as Deputy City Clerk,
countersigned by
it Claude A. Renshaw, as City Manager,
or in his absence or inability to act for any reason
By Morris N. Lipp, as Assistant City Manager,
or in the absence of both or their inability to act for any
reason
By Margaret L. MacKay, as Secretary.

The City Clerk is hereby authorized to use said facsimile
signatures in connection with said account .
SECTION 3: That a certified copy hereof be delivered to the
Mercantile National Bank of Miami Beach and to
The Miami Beach First National Bank.
