Resolution 9181 RESOLUTION NO. 9181
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is interested in assuring the continuation of
air service to the cities and states hereinafter mentioned,
and
WHEREAS, the Civil Aeronautics Board has instituted an
investigation concerning air travel between the various
cities and states hereinafter mentioned,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the Greater Miami
Traffic Association be and it is hereby authorized to repre-
sent the City of Miami Beach before the Civil Aeronautics
Board, wherein the Civil Aeronautics Board has instituted
an investigation to determine whether the public interest
and convenience requires that a segment of TWA' s Route 2
which extends between Cincinnati, Ohio, and Detroit, Mich-
igan, via Dayton, Columbus and Toledo, Ohio, be transferred
to another carrier.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of December, A. D. 1955.
