Resolution 9188 RESOLUTION NO. 9188
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, has been advised that George D. Tyson and Morris
Chalfen desire to lease the premises and facilities of the
Miami Beach Auditorium for the purpose of the Harlem Globe-
trotters - Basketball , on the evenings of January 15th and
16th, 1956, and
WHEREAS , a lease agreement has been prepared by the
Auditorium Manager and approved as to form by the City At-
torney, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised of and is
familiar with the terms and provisions of said lease agree-
ment, and deems it to be for the best interest of the City
to authorize the execution of said lease agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
the above described lease agreement on behalf of the City of
Miami Beach, and that the Auditorium Manager is hereby
authorized and directed to carry into effect the terms and
provisions undertaken therein by the City .
