Resolution 9194 RESOLUTION NO. 9194 WHEREAS, the existing filing facilities, equipment and space in the offices of the Traffic Violations Bureau are being unnecessarily burdened by an accumulation of obsolete records, and WHEREAS, the proper and efficient operation of said Bureau will be promoted by the removal and destruction of such obsolete records, and WHEREAS, the City ' s Certified Public Accountant has duly recommended the destruction of all notices to appear and summonses issued for violations of the Traffic Code of the City of Miami Beach during the calendar years of 1952 and 1953, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach has duly found and determined no public interest requires the further preservation of said records and that of those summonses and notices to appear which have not been discharged by payment of fines are either uncollectible, or the cost of the collection thereof ex- ceeds the amount of the fines assessable thereon, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager be and he is hereby duly authorized and empowered to order the destruction of all notices to appear and all summonses issued for violations of the Traffic Code during the years 1952 and 1953, and that such destruction be accomplished by incineration under the direct super- vision of representatives of the Accounting Department of the City of Miami Beach, Florida. PASSED and ADOPTED this 21 day of December, A.
