SUBJECT: COMMUNITY MEETINGS
The purpose of this Letter to Commission (LTC) is to provide the Mayor and City Commission with an update
regarding the scheduling of four community meetings in September and October.
These meetings are intended to provide information regarding the G.O . Bond and other items on the November
6, 2018 election ballot. Attendees can expect to gain a deeper understanding of the Inspector General,
Convention Center Hotel, and G .O. Bond ballot items as well as hear from and meet key city staff. The schedule
below includes meetings in North, Mid, and South Beach and an additional meeting on a weekend for residents
who cannot attend during the week. These meetings have been publicized via a direct mailer to all registered
voters, through theE-newsletter , and social media.
