Resolution 9379 '9279 RESOLUTION NO. 9379 WHEREAS, one of our pioneer residents is retiring after twenty-eight years of faithful and continuous service as a valued member of the official family of our City; and WHEREAS, he has rendered dedicated and val- ued service to his co-workers in important capacities with the Credit Committee of the Miami Beach Federal Credit Union, the Miami Beach Employees Benevolent Association and City Pension Fund for Firemen and Policemen in the City of Miami Beach; and WHEREAS, he has unselfishly served the City in whatever capacities requested of him, including Health Officer, Cashier, Senior Building Inspector and as a conscientious working member of the Advisory Board of the Social Service Department; and WHEREAS, Edmund M. Hancock has been a dili- gent collector of Miami Beach historical memorabilia for the benefit of its citizens and fellow members of the Pioneers of Miami Beach, of which he has been its president continuously. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council warmly and sincerely thank Edmund M. Hancock for giving of himself these many years to the service of our City in an unassuming and cheerful manner which is so typical of his devotion as a public servant . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be presented to Mr. Hancock as a tangible testimonial of our true regard. PASSED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, A.
