Resolution 9382 RESOLUTION NO. 9382
WHEREAS, Artie Friedman served the City of Miami
Beach capably, conscientiously and with a high degree
of integrity for eight and one-half years; and
WHEREAS, the management of the Bayshore Golf Course
redounded to the benefit of the entire community because
of Artie Friedman's efforts to maintain high standards
of administration and sportsmanship;
AND, FURTHER, as a gracious host and efficient
manager of the Bayshore Golf Course, Artie Friedman gained
national recognition, not only for himself but for the City
of Miami Beach;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of Miami Beach pay fitting tribute to Artie Friedman as a
sportsman, a man and as a faithful Civil Servant;
AND, FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED, that this resolution
become part of the permanent records of the City of Miami
Beach and a copy be presented to Artie Friedman's widow
and children.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of January, A.D.
