SANITARY SEWER LATERAL DISTRICT
IMPROVEMENT SL-30 SL-30
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made;the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SL-30 The laying underground of six (6) inch terra cotta
sewer laterals as a separate improvement from the
existing sanitary sewer to the line of approximately
each fifty (50) feet of abutting property in the alley
between Byron Avenue and Carlyle Avenue from Seventy-fourth
(74th) Street to Seventy-fifth (75th) Street.
As said Alley,Avenues and Streets are shown on a Plat
recorded in Plat Book Thirty-four (34) , Page Four (4)
of the Public Records of Dade County,Florid4, and as
said Streets and Avenues are named and designated in
Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk Plans and Specifications of said Improvement with an estimate of the
cost,including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and
other surveys ,the inspection and superintendence of the work,the preparation
of plans and specifications and estimates ,the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings ,the preparation of bonds ,interest during con-
' struction,legal services ,abstracts ,etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against the abutting property for each
sewer lateral.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SL-30, and is described
as follows :
Lots Two (2) ,Three (3) , Nine (9) and Eleven (11) Block Four (4) ,
Townsite of Harding, according to the Plat thereof recorded
in Plat Book Thirty-four (34) at Page Four (4) of the Public
Records of Dade County,Florida.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments and
bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-30, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District SL-30.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF January, A.D. 1957 .
