SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT SK-229

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter :
SK-229 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the Northerly
side of Thirty-third (33rd) Street, and both sides
of Thirty-fourth (34th) Street from Indian Creek
Drive to Collins Avenue; on the Southerly side of
Thirty-seventh (37th) Street from Indian Creek Drive
to a point at or near one hundred seventy (170) feet
Easterly of Indian Creek Drive; on both sides of
Thirty-ninth (39th) Street, the Southerly side of
Fortieth (40th) Street, and the Southerly side of
Forty-second (42nd) Street from Indian Creek Drive
to Collins Avenue.
As said Streets, Drive and Avenue are shown on a
Plat recorded in Plat Book Five (5) , Pages Seven (7)
and Eight (8) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Streets are named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,the
printing and public' tion of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds , interest during construction, legal services , abstracts , etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-229 , and is described
as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on those
parts of the streets mentioned above and lying between
the points described above.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments and
bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-229, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-229.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th DAY OF February, A.D. 1957.
