SANITARY SEWER LATERAL DISTRICT
IMPROVEMENT SL-31 SL-31
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described Improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter :
SL-31 The laying underground of six (6) inch terra cotta sewer
laterals as a separate Improvement from the existing
sanitary sewer to the line of approximately each fifty
(50) feet of abutting property in the alley west of Hard-
ing Avenue from Seventy-Third (73rd) to Seventy-fifth
(75th) Street,and in the alley west of Collins Avenue
from Seventy-Ninth (79th) Street to Eightieth (80) Street.
As said Alley, Avenues and Streets are shown on Plats re-
corded in Plat Book 34, at Page 4, and Plat Book 31, at
Page 40, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Streets and Harding Avenue are named and designated
in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk Plans and Specifications of said Improvement with an estimate of the
cost, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and
other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the prepara-
tion of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publica-
tion of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts etc. , and any other expenses neces-
sary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against the abutting property for
each sewer lateral .
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of such
Improvement is hereby designated as District SL-31, and is described as
follows :
Lot Three (3) , Block Three (3) , and Lots Two (2) , Three (3) ,
Five (5) , Six (6) , and Thirteen (13) , Block 8, Townsite of
Harding,according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book
Thirty-Four (34) , at Page Four (4) ; Lots One (1) , Two (2) and
Three (3) , Block Twenty (20) , corrected Plat of Altos del Mar
No. 1, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Plat Book
Thirty-One (31) , at Page Forty (40) of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Sanitary Sewer Lateral Improvement SL-31, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District SL-31.
