Resolution 9506 RESOLUTION NO. 9506
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Mayor, a member
of said City Council, and the Supervisor of Registration, of the
result of the canvass of the returns of the Primary Election held
in said City on May 28, 1957 , and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns
and certificate ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of said
City that it hereby adopts the said certificate as the result of
said election and it is hereby ordered that the same be recorded
in the minutes of this meeting as a permanent record, and that the
names of the eight (8) candidates for nomination to the office of
City Councilman who have received the greatest number of votes in
said Primary Election, as shown by said Certificate and canvass ,
be placed on the ballot at the General Election to be held on
June 4, A.D. , 1957.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 29th day of May, A.D. 1957 .
