RESOLUTION NO. 9533
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SK-221 SK-221
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
SK-221 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on thewest side of Ocean
Terrace from Seventy-fourth (74th) Street to a point at or
near One hundred (100) Feet south of Seventy-fourth (74th)
Street.
As said Terrace and Street are shown on Plat recorded in
Plat Book Thirty-four (34) , at Page Four (4) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida and as said Ocean
Terrace and Seventy-fourth (74th) Street are named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
The property against which assessments are to be made for the cost of
such improvement is hereby designated as District SK-221 and is described
as follows :
All of the lots or parcels of land abutting on Ocean
Terrace and lying between. Seventy-fourth (7Lith) Street
and a point at or near One hundred (100) feet South of
Seventy-fourth (74th) Street.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-221, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District SK-221.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of July , A. D. 1957.
